Doha HAZOP Trip

I know I have not blogged for zillons of years. There nothing interesting for me to blog; if not I did not bring my camera out. Haa..

I went to Doha for two weeks for a business trip. The weather is cold!!! The coldest day can come all the way down to 11 deg. Maybe it's nothing for people who had been to country that snow, but it's definitely cold for me...

Maybe 2009 will be a lucky year for me. I managed to experience a raining day there. Did you know that Doha only has 10 raining days per year! And I managed to experience it.

And there's some of the photos taken by my handphone. Finally, my omina come in handy.


Tried out the new function of pisca. Or is it an old function? Have not been using it for zillons of years since I have not been blogging. The guy in the photo is not the birthday boy!


Villaggio - The shopping mall with the painted roof. I think they are genius. Imagine painting the roof of the whole shopping mall! It's flawless till the stage we are thought it was wallpaper.

It's basically a single storey shopping mall, so whatever you see in the second storey is all painted. Pretty right!!

Not forgetting the "river" and boat ride which you can take to tour round the mall. I didn't get to try it. No one seems interested in trying except me :(


Had a tennis game in the morning, good exercise for someone who had not exercise for 2 weeks and having heavy meals everyday.

Visited the Museum of Islamic Art in the afternoon. We are lucky to visit it while it's still free!


View outside the museum. Pretty! It doesn't even look like you are actually visiting a desert country.


Went to support a Badminton Open Match. The court is so run-down that it's even worst than the SRC in NTU! And they are actually holding a Badminton Open Match inside.

Back to the match, they lost! Better luck next year with more practice; not grabbing and borrowing the rackets 15 minutes before the match....


We went to this really posh and pretty resturant for dinner. Just look at the setting and ambience. I think we paid alot for that!

The food we had. These cost us 1500 riyals; which is about S$750. EXPENSIVE!!!!
